She co-founded Fast Forward Labs, an applied machine learning research lab. She wrote the book “High Performance Python” and has written and co-written numerous articles and white papers on cutting edge machine learning research and ethics in machine learning.
She also has used art and theater to better communicate and create dialogue around issues surrounding the ethics of algorithms.
Currently Micha is in France working with journalists to bring data techniques to the newsroom at The Markup and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).
